The second time Rebecca Black's Friday was posted on YouTube it got 30 mil. views.

Now that you've watched Friday by Rebecca Black, you cannot help but ask yourself "How the hell could this happen?" Good question! Apparently, the Friday music video generated such enormous buzz mostly due to negative reaction towards its lyrics (over 600,000 comments on YouTube) and, obviously, Black's singing. Sadly, many teenagers wished Black "would kill herself" and also "wanted to kill themselves after watching it."

After popular blogs such as "Tosh.0", "Just Jared" and "Defamer" started to draw attention on Rebecca Black Friday Video, concluding that "Songwriting isn't for everyone", Friday has grown immensely in popularity. Shortly, Salon, The Telegraph, Reuters started writing about Rebecca Black Friday official music video, and then celebrities such as Lady Gaga and Chris Brown showed their support too for the 13 years old singer.

The concept for Friday Rebecca Black music video is based on the lyrics Black wrote and is exactly a typical Friday for Rebecca. Black's mother paid "Ark Music Factory" -- a company who gives kids a chance to make their own music videos to upload them on YouTube -- $2,000, representing one half of the production costs of the music video, to retain some rights to the official music video.

Rebecca Black News and Rumors

Rebecca Black's Friday has almost reached 100,000,000 hits on YouTube. 100 MILLION views in just one month is not too shabby! The song has already been remixed, covered and parodied a lot and will likely inspire further variations as it continues spreading throughout the Internet, and there is nothing stopping it now.

Even if the song sounds "wrong" at so many levels, I can't help but show my respect for the buzz Rebecca Black created around the world. Just check out the tweets on Twitter; they never stop! So, what is this "fry-eee-day", except officially the most despised video on the Internet right now? Well, it's a song that people in offices everywhere will listen each Friday and thus ruin their coworker's evenings by embedding the (auto)tune in their brains. It's also a teenager attempt to conquer the world, which apparently she did. Good job, Rebecca! Or is it, bad job...?

Friday Cover by Kalie Shorr - OMG! It's spreading!

Friday, Ark Music Factory's biggest hit at the moment, became an internet sensation in just a few weeks, mainly for all the wrong reasons.

The Friday song from YouTube was posted on February 10 and was a top trending topic on Twitter for two days. News sites, such as Yahoo!, were asking if Friday is the worst song ever, while Billboard labeled the song "straight out of Auto-Tuned hell", as it is heavily auto-tuned. Even UK's E! Online asked its visitors: "Is Rebecca Black's "Friday" for Real?" Bookmark this page and return for news at a later time.

Rebecca Black - The Dark Side of Fame
Today (August 10, 2011) it might be Rebecca Black who's having the last laugh: she won a "Teen Choice Award" and she sang on stage with Katy Perry in LA. Even Lady Gaga has come to Rebecca's defense, convinced that Black's a genius. Genius of not, when will we see a Rebecca Black tour? And, more importantly, will the tour fall on a Friday?!

Glee Friday (Rebecca Black Cover)
May 6. It's Friday again so we have a new update for you. One would think that Rebecca Black's Friday would start to get less and less attention from the public by now. Unfortunately, this is not the case... Black Friday, how we like to call it, has gone slightly over 130 million views on YouTube and continues to rise, despite also gaining a laudable 2,6 million dislikes. Yep, Rebecca Black has gone way too far into the "dark side."

Covers and parodies on Friday are still being created. Here's one that's worth mentioning and is for the Glee fans. It's Tuesday, Tuesday, gotta get down on Tuesday! Glee is on, Glee is on yeah! Glee is on, Glee is on yeah! Fun, fun, fun, fun... Listen to Glee Friday, Rebecca Black Cover on YouTube.

Friday by Rebecca Black Slowed Down
Bellow, you will find a modified version of the song Friday by Rebecca Black which, if you ask me, sounds 5 times better than the original, as it is 5 times slower than the initial song. Pay close attention to the beginning; it does sound better, doesn't it?

Rebecca Black Friday Lyrics are Pure Genius

As stated in the lyrics, Rebecca wakes up at 7 and goes to the school bus, waiting for her friends (those are her real friends in the video) to pick her up. In the evening, Black and her friends ride the car to a party. "Friday" co-writer Patrice Wilson appears near the end of the party song to make it even weirder. The video was shot in January at Black's father's house and took over 12 hours to finish.

The music video received 4,000 views, pleasing Black, who's only hope was that the song would help her to later begin a singing career. Then "Tosh.0" posted and then things were never the same for Black. While some would label Friday by Rebecca Black the worst song ever and others would call the 13-year-old Black the next Justin Bieber, no one can deny that anyone who can create this much controversy within a week, is a genius! So let's check out Rebecca Black Friday lyrics, shall we?

Gotta be fresh, gotta go downstairs,
Gotta have my bowl, gotta have cereal.
Seein' everything, the time is goin'
Tickin' on and on, everybody's rushin'
Gotta get down to the bus stop.
Gotta catch my bus, I see my friends (My frieeends).

Kickin' in the front seat,
Sittin' in the back seat,

Which seat can I take?

[CHORUS]

Gotta get down on Friday.
Everybody's lookin' forward to the weekend, weekend.

Gettin' down on Friday,
Everybody's lookin' forward to the weekend.

Regardless of what you might think of Rebecca Black's Friday you cannot dismiss the importance of proper planning for Black's parents -- who only want the best for their daughter, even if "best" translates into "torturous" and, sadly, still trending as one of the on Twitter and Facebook in 2011.
